OBJECTIVES OF THE LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER

The SLMCS Learning Resource Center aims to support the learning, teaching, research needs, instructional materials, and equipment in upholding educational programs and services to the users, in such a way to meet the requirement and expectation and achieve the highest professional standards in upholding quality Vincentian Education.

As partners of the academic community, the LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER seeks to:

1. Manage those resources efficiently, effectively and economically;
2. Establish an environment conducive to study and which caters for multiple learning style.
3. Ensure learning resources staff has the appropriate technical skills, qualifications and experience;
4. Facilitate the integration of various information and access to technology resources
5. Ensure that the service offered is to the highest quality and is subject to the principles of continuous improvement;
6. Teach users about the learning resource services, facilities and to develop their information skills;
7. Provide access to the learning resource services required to support the learning teaching and research activities of the institution.
8.  Facilitating the integration of various information and access to technology resources into the teaching learning activities.
